Nestled on the right wing of the Huntshoek reserve, our fully catered thatched chalets offer a peaceful retreat surrounded by the breathtaking wilderness of the Eastern Cape. While each chalet provides privacy and comfort, breakfast and dinner are served at the main Huntshoek Lodge dining area, just a short stroll from your accommodation.
Guests are invited to unwind in the lodge's shared indoor and outdoor lounge spaces, cool off in the infinity pool, or soak up the spectacular views from the viewing deck overlooking the Great Fish River Valley. With personalised hospitality, delicious home-style cuisine and every detail thoughtfully taken care of, all that's left to do is relax and immerse yourself in the beauty of your surroundings.
To preserve the tranquillity of the bush, our chalets are intentionally TV-free, encouraging guests to disconnect and embrace the natural surroundings. Should you wish to catch a major sporting event or special occasion, a large communal TV is available in the main lodge lounge.

Hunters Chalet
Self-Catered Family Chalet

Unlike our other accommodation on the Huntshoek Lodge side, Hunter's Chalet is the only self-catering two-bedroom retreat on the Huntshoek Lodge side, with a cosy lounge, open-plan kitchen and private deck. Both bedrooms are en-suite with freestanding fans, and a private boma braai area offers the perfect outdoor experience.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and can make use of the main lodge facilities. Meals may be arranged separately by prior arrangement.
